Chuan Shabu is a place I've been going to very often for quite some time now. It's only about 10-15 away from home and it always hits the spot when I'm craving hotpot but don't want to drive down to Boston. Their portions are HUGE for being AYCE, you get a DIY sauce bar that has many options to choose from to make a perfect dipping sauce, and it's a pretty good price to pay for their dinner menu. Meat quality is nice and their seafood is good too, but I don't get it often cause it does cause a stomachache sometimes. We always go for the super mala broth - don't be fooled by the name because it isn't as spicy as you think (at least for me). Service is ALWAYS amazing. My friends and family have gone so much, they remember everything! From our names to drink and food orders haha. Iris and Leo are hands down the sweetest. Taj is very funny - we rarely get him but he always cracks jokes to us and has a lively attitude.

Went there for all you can eat lunch with my husband-fast service and the wait staff were all so polite and helpful. Come hungry! Tons of options with hot pot add ins (meat, veg and noodles/rice). They also have a make your own sauce bar with tons of options. I'm a vegetarian and the staff were super helpful about letting me know which items and sauces may have fish sauce in them
We regularly come here and have been to quite a few shabu/hot pot restaurants before. Service is always quick. I will say...today I wanted to recognize Taj. He is great at rapport building, he's funny as heck and super responsive. Chuan is LUCKY to have him! As far as the food- the spicy broths and curry are our favorites. And I love the fact that they have an executive menu where you can choose MULTIPLE additions for your experience. One thing I didn't know I loved?? QUAIL EGGS!! Everything seems super fresh and the broths are excellent and flavorful. The restaurant itself is clean, cute and always playing great music. I hope this gem stays as a local staple as there aren't too many great shabu places around the Worcester area!
My daughter and I are big fans of hot pot. Everything about this place was wonderful. The broths and meats were great. The service was exceptional. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.
If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! I can't even begin to describe how amazing the service was. Taj (I hope i spelled your name right) was incredible. I wish every server was like him. The food is also delicious!! I highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area. So incredible. I also want to mention how clean and refreshing this place is.
